Today, education remains an inaccessible right for millions of children around the world. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds do not have the same opportunity as their better-off peers, and some are not in a position to pursue their education and passion because of severe financial hardships following extreme circumstances. In light of this situation, the founder of IEG, Paul Shih, continues to support his alma mater at Columbia Business School. In addition, IEG has set up a CSVP Shih IEG Global Corporation Fund to create opportunities for all students to obtain higher education and rewarding careers.
The mission of IEG Scholarship is to maximize every student’s potential and ensure that each one graduates with every opportunity to succeed.
Since 2012, we have been a fully self-funded 501(c)(3), and try our best to build a promising future for the next generations around the globe. Our mission is to continue to assist bright young students from economically disadvantaged families to receive quality-learning experiences that will arm them with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in their communities.
Apply It to Your Tuition Bill
We offer a stipend ranging from $1,000 to $30,000 to help you pay for school. The award can be sent directly to your college’s financial aid office so the school can apply it to your bill.
IEG’s Passion Finding Programs
You can also spend your scholarship award on applying to our Passion Finding Program(s). IEG offers intellectually stimulating programs with partner universities: Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, Berklee & Brown, and Pratt Institute for young students, with the goal of providing them with the necessary resources to pursue higher education at a myriad of elite universities.
How to Apply
We accept applications on a rolling basis. Necessary documents may be required based on each family’s circumstances; you will be notified if such documents are needed. You should be prepared to provide as much personal financial information as possible before applying for IEG scholarship.
